Ursa

Our journey begins on the shores of Lake Como, a lake deeper than the sea, cradled by forested mountains and dotted with picturesque villages and sunlit villas. As children, we would glide along its waters in a small boat, marveling at the dramatic cliffs of Corni di Canzo and the soft green slopes of the Lecco branch. The air was alive with the scent of wildflowers, pine, and damp stone. Our favorite discovery was the Fiumelatte, Leonardo da Vinci’s “Fiumelaccio,” a stream that flows intermittently from a hidden cave, perfuming the air with a unique, almost magical aroma. Every visit revealed new corners: secret gardens, scented terraces, and quiet bays where the water mirrored the mountains and sky. Lake Como became a place of wonder and curiosity, a living perfume of nature, history, and childhood memories, where each breath tells a story of discovery and quiet enchantment.
